OUTLET CENTER TO HOST FIRST-EVER CANNED FOOD TREE CELEBRATION
In partnership with FoodLink, a leading, nonprofit organization that works to end hunger in Tulare County, Tulare Outlets, the more than 226,000 square foot outlet center serving the Greater Fresno and Bakersfield regions, announced today all are invited to be awe-inspired as the shopping destination hosts its first-ever Canned Food Tree Celebration.
From Friday, Dec. 7 through Sunday, Dec. 9, Tulare Outlets’ visitors will be amazed by a spectacular presentation of more than 50 holiday trees, each creatively constructed solely from canned food.
“Although our region, fondly known as ‘the food basket of the world,’ is known for the diversity of food product it produces, still, four out of every 10 individuals in Tulare County is in need of food,” said Tulare Outlets Marketing Manager Patty Rocha. “As a steadfast community partner, we have teamed with FoodLink to make a significant impact in reducing the hunger rate, right in our backyard.”
With each tree featuring 528 cans in a uniquely branded and decorated displays by a generous family of local sponsors, Tulare Outlets’ 2018 holiday season initiative will result in the donation of more than 26,000 food cans for those in need in the local community.
