TULARE OUTLETS ALIGNS WITH UNITED WAY TO COMBAT ILLiteracy

Shopping Destination Donates Designer Bags, Shopping Spree for “Power of the Purse” Fundraiser

TULARE, Calif. (May 20, 2019): Tulare Outlets, a more than 226,000 square foot outlet center serving the Greater Fresno and Bakersfield regions, announced today it proudly serves as a sponsor of Power of the Purse 2019, an annual community fundraiser to help fight illiteracy.  Hosted by United Way of Tulare County’s Women Leadership Council, the special event, is attended by more than 600 women, and will be held on June 14, 2019.

Along with a keynote speaker breakfast, Power of the Purse includes a lively prize raffle, courtesy of Tulare Outlets, where event attendees have the opportunity to win a center-wide $500 shopping spree along with designer bags from brand name favorites including Coach, Calvin Klein, Banana Republic Factory Store, Gap Outlet, Express Factory Outlet and LOFT Outlet, each modeled by local “hometown heroes” and other notable citizens.
